LG U + Union Huawei Successfully Completed 5G Field Dual Connection Technology Verification

[Korea, Seoul, October 19, 2017] Recently, LG U + Union Huawei in Seoul 5G field successfully completed the "dual connection" technology verification, through the terminal at the same time connecting 3.5GHz base station and 28GHz base station, can reach 20Gbps downlink transmission rate, Show the LG U + and Huawei in the 5G joint innovation and verification of another major achievement.

In the field verification of the 5G "dual connection" technology, the terminal simultaneously connected 3.5GHz and 28GHz base stations, while receiving data from two base stations, a significant increase in single-user rate. The validation of the LG U + in Seoul, Korea 5G field of the two base stations of the joint test, confirmed the 3.5GHz base station and 28GHz base station between the downlink rate of technical capacity, field verification rate of 20Gbps.
